NGC 7008; The Fetus Nebula

Like many other planetary nebulae, NGC 7008 benefits from the use of a filter. The nebula really comes to life and details become easier to discern when an OIII filter is applied. Stars become dimmer, but because of the darker sky background, the nebula itself is enhanced.

What I tried to do here is showing as realistically as possible what a difference in appearance it makes.
